(formally the Nurses' Home), to pay tribute, to recognise the achievements made and to remember Runwell Hospital. Guest Speakers; Mr. Ray Spearman, who began his career at the Hospital in 1947 as a Fitter, and a former Patient, who was admitted in 1955, shared some of their memories of Runwell Hospital, and what the Hospital has meant to them over the years. This was then followed by a ceremonial locking-up of the doors of the Administration Building, and it is particularly poignant that one of those to lock the doors for the very last time was formally a Patient at the Hospital, who went onto joining the Staff. It was an afternoon filled with a mixture of emotions.
